Unemployment? Sounds perfectly delicious.

Said I wanna study.
But I know deep inside it is nothing but an excuse.

Said this job is bimbotic, true.
But still an excuse.

I just hate packing for trips after trips.
Leaving my baby is draining every last bit of emotion.

I wanna stay at home.
For once in my life housegirlfriend doesn't sound the least bit useless.
Only tempting.

I really wanna quit.
This time it feels so real.

Maybe its because I'm almost 4 months away from the bond.
Everything about this job seems to be hanging on a thin strand of thread.
The entire weight of this issue, from a long time of building castles in the air, to the reality that there will soon be no more bond holding me back anymore.
And I've a decision to make.
Be it study or a new job
Excuses.

I wanna see my baby snore everynight.
The serene expression when he sleeps.
His warm bao bao.
I hate this job.
No matter how everyone else thinks the best of it.
No matter how many girls try their hardest to make it theirs.

It's time for me to be home.
Be with the person I love.
That's more important than any god damn job.

Said I wanna play, I've played enough.
Said I wanna see the world, I've seen my fair share.
You can never finish seeing the world, and even if you really did, one time is barely enough.
Is my time up?
Why does it feel so?

Random photos

First time on Singapore Airlines First Class.
Loved it.
The seat was TOO BIG. Made me feel so short and small.
No complains about the big TV screen though.
Loved the bed!
Wonder how suites will be like.
Loved the warm mixed nuts.
Loved the really nice crew working there.

Was traveling with Shu Zhen but our only picture together was blur.
And we spent the rest of the time enjoying the facilities and forgotten about our plan to camwhore.
Watched a lot of shows, including Pussycat Dolls London tour!

Can easily fit baby beside me as well!

Went out with Nelson Xinyi Mummy and Aunty

She made me take this photo!

On another day, the girls came by! I MISS THEM ALREADY!
We had root beer float, grapes, honeydew, pizza and sides, muffins, popcorn chicken supermarket style, tapioca chips, more root beer! And a full tummy!

Manchester post, DVD, Manchester post, DVD, Manchester! DVD! Ahhhhh...

JAKATA

Waiting for my Nasi Goreng (rice) room service to be served. I heard Shangri La serves a mean Nasi Goreng, and buffet (too insanely much, and I heard so cheap here), I just wanted to try it out. Although what I need more than anything else at this moment is sleep, not food.

The thing with this job is that there are people who like to do things their way, their own style. Of late, I realized this particular category of people is really annoying. Worse than what you call the 'gan jiong spiders' (overly anxious), or the anal black and white (aka law by law) ones, and the incompetent lazy ones.

(ROOM SERVICE JUST ARRIVED AND IT SMELLS TO BLOODY SHIOK. Will tell you how much I enjoyed it later, if I did)

Back the this category of people..

It really gets on your nerve, every last nerve, when you do things YOUR way (because OBVIOUSLY I have my own reasons! NOT OUT OF RANDOM 'I-think-today-would-be-a-fine-day-to-screw-myself-up' thought!), and these people JUMP at you! Literally! They'll immediately go: Why you do this like that! You should...

I mean seriously, if you spend one second of that moment whining like a bitch, to think about why this person does it this way instead of your PERFECT (with a hint, actually TONS, of sarcasm) method, then maybe you will see that to many things in life, there are many solutions. Many ways to get to the final destination. Gawd, they need a 20 year old to knock small sense into their heads?

Really, do these people not see the picture?

One example would be a simple "excuse me". If I were to see someone busy, who needs a minute, standing in front of the microwave, I will not insist on excusing myself and wanting to get to my food in the microwave immediately. Why. Because I am polite, I don't expect to want my things NOW, I can wait, and I would rather wait then to interrupt you pouring your milk because either way SOMEONE has to wait anyway, and since you're already in the midst of pouring, it would be faster if you finished before I ask you to MOVE. Isn't it a waste of time if I have to move you then take my food, and move you BACK so that you may continue to pour ONE cup of milk? JUST POUR FINISH LAH. So yah, i stretch my hand from the side just to feel the temperature and this guy JUMPED. He said 'IF YOU SAID EXCUSE ME I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE MILK TO THE SIDE. (No one is asking him to move anyway cos from this angle he is not blocking me!)' I do find it rude to come into the kitchen and expect all life form to suddenly stop the things they're doing and move away. That is why I didn't say excuse me, I just didn't want to trouble you, not that I need you to move away anyway, not that I am dying of starvation if I can't get my food in the next second. He then followed up with a few uncalled for remarks like 'What school were you from', yes with a tone of you-must-be-lowly-educated. I think I'm smarter than you because old man, if you were smart, you wouldn't be in this line until the day you retire (in a few months time). What have you achieved? Coffee and Tea?

Today I met one again.

These people exist amongst us. Everyday they judge the general public on the way they do things, and everyone is criticize except them. The only thing that makes them right is authority. You have bosses, management staff, colleagues, in every corner of your career. Why do some human live in their well, and get away with it? How can some people be so narrow minded? It's pretty mind boggling, and a lil pinch of pity.

P.s. I'm not in a bad mood today. Work was fine, I'm just a lil confused with the fact that despite being humans the same, some people really think funny. It's.. seriously confusing why they're like that.

OK the food was not too bad. Not as good as expected. Rice was pretty darn tasty! However it tasted so Chinese rather than Indonesian! The chili, Indonesian style chili, can never go wrong can it. Satay was not good, more like meat stewed instead of BBQed, chicken was so dry I'm less than halfway there and I have no idea how to finish it. Pork floss, I didn't know it was their style in Nasi Goreng. The the koropok is the bitter kind. So yah. Other than the rice and chili, the rest was not a huge wow.

Regards,
me.

Its yet another Starbucks night.

This post was so yesterday, but I guess the full house at Starbucks messed up the internet speed it was sooooo badddddd... nothing could get uploaded, not even the sites.

Anyway this is the Double Tree hotel in Milan, not Starbucks. Had a lot in mind to blog yesterday, but upon reaching home everything kinda turned into dust. >.<

ONE. As on my facebook, msn and sms, SIA is having another round of interview! The only reason I've been so excited is because a lot of friends have been asking and I'm supposed to let them know the next interview when I know. Now I know. 12 DEC 09. So hurry your ass off, in particular tons of good luck to Jocelyn, and Jing Ming!

TWO. Starbucks ran out of their toffee nut syrup, really stupid. Vanilla latte was so damn sweet. I was just telling honey I gotta cut back on sugar because recently I've been having so much until I feel nauseas every single time. My grandma passed away because of diabetes and other complications, so it runs in the genes. Not funny at all.

THREE. I just came back from a course yesterday and I swear it was the best time I've ever had in office. Aaron Le Boutillier or something along that line. That english guy, man he turned us into total miniature premature SWAT teams. I feel safe, knowing that I can break free, injure the bad guy with pressure points, and arrest him with the 'folding arms' technique. It was so fun. The best thing was, aside from his super interactive way of class, we ended at 3.30pm when it's supposed to be 5.30pm. Cool teachers are cool.

FOUR. Why does the bloody to-do list never shortens no matter how much I've done! DAMN.

FIVE. Need a break. Sigh. Can't wait for next month's schedule, I really need to go Europe for some shopping and sight seeing time. It's been a while.

And on to Manchester post later on after I date the dentist, meet the guy who needs me to sign some shit, arrange appointment with the doctor, pack for Jakata tmr.. Bloody hell.

Me.

Johannesburg, Again.

Okay what happened that night was this, I was typing a company email for an hour straight, really engrossed, barely touched my Starbucks, and took an hour odd without a breather.

Then I hit send and the page went back to relogin, session timed out. Fucktard.

So with that frustration, baby ended his exam and I logged out. Waste of my time.

Anyway, Starbucks had the cutest design for Christmas! I wanna go back there for latte and mocha frap soon! Esp the mint one for Christmas edition!

I'm back in Johannesburg again, and I'm gonna work on it later.

The weirdest thing occurred. I crash and woke up many many hours later not remembering anything. Colleagues were supposed to call for dinner, and it was 2 am when I finally revived. Did they not call? Did I totally miss the call? It has never happened before and it's leaving me confused.

Saturday, November 28, 2009

Im back in Singapore, not Houston.

Might blog tonight while baby goes for exam once again! <3

Moscow, Russia

I am in Moscow!

It's cold, but not the peak of winter, like I thought. *Frown*

Nevertheless, it's always fun with winter wear! (:

Hate the fact that there's no internet in the room. So there could only be 2 places I am at now, lounge, or lobby. Surfing the internet in the middle of the lobby is not only weird, but retarded. So there's only one possibility left. (: Lounge with 5 other laptops, 5 of us and 2 colleagues who left for the gym leaving the fb account to run cos we're super big babies playing all the whatsnot on fb. hee.

I'll be the 3rd one at the gym later, hopefully. After lunch has digested.

Speaking of lunch, pasta was super yummy at the joint! I dare say the best pasta I've had! Pizza too! thin crust, but unlike the usual crispy dry, this one was soft like oven fresh bread! umm~

Now, if I could get more blogging done, I will. I'm trying.

DID I MENTION I'M GOING HOUSTON TOMORROW?!

It's thanks giving sales! The kinda stampede you see on TV!!! Don't think we're gonna risk our lives that way though, don't think the company is gonna like the idea. So maybe we'll do the day after the pandemonium. (:

MONEY FLOWING OUTTA MY POCKET~~~~~ WHoo!

ttfn!
me. (:

Saturday, November 21, 2009

Curiously, I counted the pieces in my wardrobe.

First up, baby gave me this top while I was half unconscious, apparently I complained about being cold I think.

And I wore it home.

And I wore it for breakfast, cos I really liked the material.

And it felt like I'm not wearing anything.

And I am not giving it back to him.

And it's mine now.

(and I hope you're reading this)

(:

Shopping in London, and it's PRIMARK, MARKS & SPENCER, FRED PERRY!

Love the print on this dress, and its puff puff! hee..

This picture does not capture the dress well!
The bottom part is supposed to be part translucent layers, part golden glitter, very princessy!

And I love it's flow!

After I reached sunny Singapore again..

Mummy cooked frog leg! Yums!

Classic, kang kong.

A lot of yummy parsley

These pictures were more recent.
Merely few days back. (: Finally.

Baby said I looked super red that day.
Can't help it, just love that fresh splash of color.
Nelson said going overseas so much has changed how I am dressing.
Maybe.
At the end of the day, I just wear what I like and how I feel like on that particular day.
Lazy, dressed up, casual chic, messed up, moody, safe. You can so read my mood. haha.

I love this pictures!
(Excluding the camwhoring ones I have yet to go through!)

Sorry, just super love the ribbon on the front of the skirt, and all the red!

The next day!

Before baby head for lesson again, and since both of us will be busy with work and Batam the next day, we went for Swensens!

I was really craving Salmon Mushroom Baked Rice BIG TIME.

Baby's Mac&Cheese

Baby's Burger.

Tons of cheese and mushrooms! ooulala!

Nope you did not read wrong,
Baby..

HE HAD 2 MAIN COURSES.
-.-
Yes, and he is so freaking in shape, damn unfair!
*^%$#@#$%

I don't usually review on products, but this one I must share.

Baby's mummy bought this for me, my face has been breaking out real bad, some say hormonal change, some say weather from different countries, some say the water that I am not used to in the different countries. Whatever it is, it's pissing me off, so troublesome!

So here's a mask that really calms the breakouts.

EPOCH
Don't know how you read that.

It's a really cool mud mask from the dead sea.
All those minerals and what not.
It dries and cracks if you smile. (fun)
DO NOT MAKE IT CRACK.
You'll create damn a lot of wrinkles some day, and then it'll be (funny)

I'm sure you've heard of Nu Skin.
It's a MLM organization.
Don't worry I'm not selling the product, I'm not those MLM stalkers.
I don't even know how to get it myself cos I did not buy it.
Baby's mummy did.
So only she knows.

OKAY.
What I like about the product:
ONE. It's super easy to apply. Baby you didn't shake properly that day that's why it was so watery. If you do, it has a nice consistency and very importantly easy to apply since most mud mask is pretty thick and messy to get on. Well, I'm actually comparing it to the one I got from Lancome, which has good ingredient and effect, just a tad more tricky.
TWO. Super easy to wash off. IMPORTANT. You know the painstaking process off washing these mud mask of, endless water and still bits and pieces. Again, it's with comparison with Lancome.
THREE. When it dried into a light greenish tone, the bigger pores with oil shows darker spots on the light green. A little like oil blotter. So that's new for me.

** Lancome's mask is great, don't get me wrong. I love how it tightens the face and purifies it so well. I love both the mask, just pointing the differences.

The day after all these (also the day I am due for work) I decided to sort out my wardrobe before I head for Houston in about a week.
Curiously, I counted the pieces in my wardrobe.
Here's the current count:
- 26 Sleeveless tops (3 not worn)
- 26 Dresses (3 not worn)
- 7 Pants/Jeans (1 not worn)
- 14 Skirts/Shorts
- 6 Cardigan (3 not worn)
- 9 Jackets
- 5 Scarfs (1 not worn)
- 4 Bikinis (4 not worn to the beach, maybe all of it)
- 19 Tops with sleeve (7 not worn)
- 6 Bottoms for home use
- 14 Tops for home use

**EXCLUDING pieces at baby's, pieces at the laundry, office wear, winter wear/coats, and pieces in my wardrobe.

Really makes me wonder if shopping at Houston is such a good idea after all, seems like I haven't got enough time to wear my purchases yet (some only once!!). Irritatingly headache.

Very sudden bye to ya'll!
Me.

Accommodation: D'Oreale Grande Hotel, Emperors Palace, 64, Jones Street Jet Park, Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa,

Great cool weather.

Buddies: Olivia & Audrey, from Korea!

Dear diary,

This last minute assignment was irritating because it meant I had to catch a flight at 0030, and that was on my off day.

That aside, it called for only one thing, LIONS SAFARI. Playing with baby lions was something I was looking forward to for a damn long time now.

So I arrived at what seemed like a cosy little room.

Knocked out, woke up, and off..

to satisfy an empty stomach.

Ocean Basket was the original version of what we have back in Singapore, I think you all know which one I'm talking about.

Love the interior of our casino hotel!

Then back to bed because tomorrow, we're heading out!

To the very popular..
Lions Safari!

Yes, Camwhoring on the journey there.
Just feeling really camwhory on this trip!
Got loads of camwhoring pics on my com, will find some time for that self love!

Love the clear blue skies!

Gosh, gets me so excited even just by talking about it! (:

Here's my 2 babes!

Super long lashes.
Isn't she a beau!

And you can feed her!

GROSS.

Now the bus journey of the safari.

Classic.
Zebras have really sexy firm asses, something I took note off since young.
They look like horses with a fashion sense.
(:
Love their coat!

Driving in!

Yummy grand piece of predator.

Young white lion!
So pretty!
White mane!
Cool

There's a distinct pride in each enclosure.
Usually 1-2 males and 5-7 females.

I love this.
And how does a lion love so many female, without them fighting!
If baby even tries. I'm gonna rip him apart! d:

Tada~ That concludes the Lion Park trip!

Eye opener certainly!

P.s. Manchester and Athens left! Oh, and tons of pictures with my huge ass face! lol.

Starbucks*ing

Love is in school and I'm at my usual Starbucks doing my usual internet routine:

1. Checking the unglam photos friends tagged me in fb while I'm away. UNTAGing them. -.-

2. Getting rid of requests, catching up with comments and wallposts, typical.

3. Blog hopping

4. Blogshopping

5. Updating blog

I:

1. Had Suki Sushi dinner with babykins again! (: Missed my ice cream cos I was too full, and I never miss it! :(

2. Took neoprints with baby!

3. Am trying out Starbucks Christmas recipe, Peppermint Mocha Frap with extra whipped cream.

4. Occasionally camwhoring on my lappie while waiting for the internet pages to load.

5. Trying not to let the guys sitting at the next table catch me camwhoring. So pai seh. lol. (I think he knows. Shiat.)

Okay, will get on with editing pictures in hopes of reducing the number of files on my desktop!

P.s. Logan came over today! He's so cute! Handsome lil boy indeed! (: Where's Ayden~?

Later~
Me.

♡ Milan ♡

Dates: 21OCT09 - 25OCT09

Accommodation: Doubletree by Hilton, Via Ludovico di Breme 77, Milan, Italy 20156

Season: Summer

Kaki: Sherly Darling!

Dear Diary!

Milan shopping was AWESOME.

This is our pretty average hotel

With a really sweet pillow!

Hate being stuck in the room on day one because everyone was tired. So I googled out a building I always wanted to see in Milan, and found out it's in DUOMO!

Yeah~ Plans made for day 2!

DUOMO
YEAH!
It's a really detailed building, a cathedral, and the designs really hit me like Big Ben, or more!

Super love the way the building carries a unique feel with it's tippy tips.

And it looks half frozen, although it wasn't in the middle of winter.

Shopping @ Duomo
Actually we were looking for the bus agency that conducts tours to the FACTORY OUTLETS!

Going round the cathedral, admiring.

Shops

Since we missed the morning bus because of a lot of miscommunication with the hotel and agency people, we settled for dinner in front of the cathedral.

They served a mean hot chocolate drink!
The best I've had in my life, HANDS DOWN.
And despite it's thickness, it's sweet with a hint of bitterness, making it not too jalat to finish.
Super yums, I can't explain it with words enough.
I need more!!

Risotto, the only food I had there because I super love seafood risotto!

The roadside flowers were so huge, bright, and fresh!

OUR FINAL DESTINATION
Milan is never complete without shopping!
Factory outlet!
In my opinion it is very similar to a little village out of no where, carrying little shops of brands ranging from Levis and Mango to Calvin Klein and Swarovski to Prada and Versace!
Sounds Delicious?
With absolutely unreasonable prices! In a good way!

Here's what one of the lane looks like.
And not many pictures because we're too busy going in and out of shops! Comparing designs and going mad!

When we're done and back at Duomo at night.

I super love my 2 new bags! (:

Regretted not buying the Prada wallet as a gift for birthdays cos it was only EURO$155 before claiming tax! Madly cheap! DAMN. And the Versace bag! And the Bvlgari clutch and tote! Super chic wallet cos I just love the round round part metal part leather logo! Too bad they didn't have that series on bag instead cos I so would have gotten it. I'm not changing my wallet cos mine has sentimental value! My silly little boy.. Not telling you guys the story cos it's mine to keep! (:

The next time I'm not letting anything off!

P.S. Some of these pictures are from Sherly's camera.

Love,
ME

Surprise surprise! (:

I'm really catching up with the backdated pictures these few days! *sense of accomplishment!*

Hope it's not too much to handle!

This one was when I'm back from San Francisco months back, how do I know? Cos the top, jeans, and heels are from there! Hurray to Forever21 for the whole outfit! Yipee! They've my sizes there, and especially the dresses where most F21 tube dresses in Singapore don't fit me cos they've got no XS, and it keeps on going downwards!

Ignore the camwhoring, really liked the long sleeve look, and baby's Puma shades.

While freshening up after waiting for babykins to end class.

Super love my light make up that day.
hee
Baby always think my make up is too thick.
IT'S NOT!

Tyra says "smile with your eyes.."
She does it madly well.

Then on a different day few days after that, baby and I had our breakfast at Tampines Mall.
One of our favorite place to go for steak is Phin's!

Tenderloin was nice and juicy, I super love bloody steak!
Medium rare to rare.
hee. Baby thinks I'm gross.

Then we went for a little jalan jalan and I saw this red tube dress which is so cute from Topshop.

Baby hates Topshop, but I seriously think that it's the way you wear it.
Cheap clothes can look good too, so fashion is not about $.

ONE.. TWO.. THREE..
SURPRISE!
(:

My love got me a pretty present after my trip from Johannesburg!
Whee!
I love my baby!
Although he irritates me by keeping me in the dark!!

Super super love ma boy!

Till the next post, (hope it's soon),

P.S. Milan and Manchester and Athens left. (Athens will take super long cos I have a few thousand pictures, which is a chore to even view through!)

♡ Seoul ♡

Dates: 20AUG09 - 22AUG09

Accommodation: Millennium Hilton Hotel, 395 Namdeamun, 5G Chung-Gu, Seoul, South Korea.

Season: Summer

Dear diary,

Just a short shopping trip at Seoul to replenish:
1. Food
2. Products
3. Shopping desires
4. Korean food

Left to right, top to bottom (here we go again~!):
Facial mask, cup noodle, freebies, facial mask, sunblock, socks,
body soap sachet, facial soap sachet, eye shadow from skin food
more soap and sunblock sachets, compact powder sponge, hand cream (very good and smells super unique, from Etude house), foot spray (pretty average, from face shop), and more socks,
lip stain sachets, foundation sachets,
very good eye lash kiap-kiap thingy from face shop (I previously own the plain silver one with pink handle, this is wayy better as it suits the curve of my eyes more, means less eye lids kiaping and more eye lash kiaping), eye shadow stick from Etude house, not too bad, but I would suggest the white instead of the yellow, the yellow is a lil hard to make for certain colors, more freebies, and finally the pink glass bottle is some enzyme mask from Etude house which was really good during the first few tries in the hotel room
Pro: Skin felt super cleansed and SOFT. VERY SOFT. Smooth skin.
Cons: Since Singapore is so humid, it takes forever to pat the lotion mask until it dries, as instructed. Whereas it works perfectly fine overseas, in hotel rooms, and air con rooms at home, as long as it is a dry place.
And more socks!
WHAT, it's not for me the socks!
A lot more stuff I got the very last day which I had no time for pictures for.
Includes 3 sling bags for wink girls and me, one handbag for mummykins, 1 BB cream, 1 compact powder, 2 pairs of shoes. No idea what else.

Last but not least, this bao is supposed to be different. The skin is a lil like simmered in oil, lightly fried. The fillings is a mix of vegetables, quite similar to the ones in spring rolls.
Eaten hot and in cold weather, or simply on an empty stomach, can be satisfying.
Eaten otherwise, "yummy" can become a very subjective word.

NEED TO GO BACK TO SEOUL.
NEED TO GO BACK TO SEOUL.
NEED TO GO BACK TO SEOUL.

Make up running low.
Udon instant noodles all gone.
More make up on my list.
Shoes
Bags
Kimchi Tofu soup
Saba fish
Bibimbab
Side dishes!!! (Which, as disgusting as it sounds, all your kimchi and beansprouts, the practice is that when the people finish their meal and leaves, the shop owners will pour back whatever remaining side dishes left into the pot to 'not waste it'. Ew. Now I really got you grosses out haven't I? Slurping on Korean ah peks saliva. Muahaha)
So many things, so many reasons!

ME.
Missing Seoul!

♡ San Francisco ♡

Dates: 17AUG09 - 19AUG09

Accommodation: Marriott Marquis, 55 Fourth Street San Francisco, California 94103 USA

Season: Summer

Best Kaki: Vaune

Dear Diiiaaarrryyyyyyy.

Yeap, after a long period of waiting and anticipation, I'm off to the USA! Whee~!!

This is a must visit place for most of my colleagues, and hence I'm there to put my taste buds to the test, no cheesecake can escape my criticism!

Presenting.. THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY!

Well as you can read from the sign, sadly, it is not actually a factory.
I was pretty looking forward to the making of cheesecake though.
:( kua-kua.

Nevertheless, LOOK AT THAT PEOPLE! Waow?

And this one caught our cravings.

Take a seat and wait for the yum-yums.

1. FREAKING GIANT!
2. BIG BLOB OF WHIP CREAM ALERT! It's really super addictive, unlike any whip cream I've consumed!

Look at the peanut butter cream swirl! ouulaalaa. Spell Health Risks!

We were not playing with our sugar I swear, it just reduced to this mess naturally. *Burp*

Saks Fifth Avenue? What's all the big huha about? Looks darn boring here.

And we're looking in the direction of every girl's heaven, VS!

And of cos lovin' all things inside, I'M IN THE CHANGING ROOM! DUH. I COULD NOT MISS THIS!

It's POSH. Like super nice carpet and seat for I don't know who, and damn a lot of full length mirrors for every inch of fitting, and peek-a-boo!
LOVE LOVE

I would have gotten it if their smallest size is not too big for me! FULL FROWN.
Couldn't get A LOT of stuff becos of the sizes!

Maybe one size down cos I swear it was dropping!

Hot ride! *wolf whistle*

Mechanics

SUPER LOVE THE STEEP SLOPES!
They just let the whole thing roll down, 3 cheers for gravity!!

Ghirardelli!

Honestly I haven't heard of that before, and honestly their Peanut Butter bars rock the socks outta ma feet!

Taking a stroll in the cold. I know, it doesn't look as cold as it really felt there!

Not sure if you're observant enough, but the Golden Bridge is visible from here, behind all those clouds and puffs.

Finally the famous Fisherman's Wharf!

That's Vaune!

Friendly Seafood Guy.
Oh, tons of seafood everywhere, even in the air!

Some battleships and submarines from WW2 that's parked there. Other than the really breathtaking size of those things, it's really not my cup of tea.
Unless I can visit the inside.
It's just freaking cold.

ALCATRAZ PRISON
The story of a prison for the worse criminals and not being able to escape.
EXCEPT FOR ONE
Familiar?
Got no tickets available. NEXT TRIP!

Pier number something.
opsie

I saw it on TV recently on some chinese travel show.

Strawberries so red, it's my desktop picture now!

If only I saw the bridge like that!
*FAINTS*

This insane picture is made up of many millions of pictures!
Salute to the artist.

Giant kiap-kiap machine!

Sweets to kill.

I love this picture a lot! If I'm that guy/girl, it would be awesome to own this, with Alcatraz at the backdrop.
The famous driveway in a lot of Hollywood shows.
Apparently.
But, I got no clue seriously.

I'm just amazed at the stir this lil stupid driveway can cause.

ONCOMING

WHOOSH

Dinner time! I know weird! Thai Green Curry in USA?!
But I was really missing some spicy asian food since we had a short detour at Incheon before and after this, which made it a really long trip.
And.. I miss makan at Thai Express with babykins.
Yes, you guessed it. When I'm back from the trip I made baby eat Green Curry at Thai Express with me again!

Shopping. Small part. Left to right, top to bottom.
Godiva members card . And it's only for USA, so yah, I will bring it whenever I visit.
3 boxes of Godiva, and in the next picture you can see a lot more cos, I WENT BACK THE NEXT MORNING NOT CONTENTED WITH THE 3 BOXES.
2 for me, one for every wink member, and one for Nurul, which she never received cos it melted while I waited for our meet ups, and devoured it in the process.
3 smaller packages cos they don't have the signature ones in the large size, and the Signature ones are the best, trust me on that, I've gotten hooked by someone, never stopped, and hooked many along with me. Yeah~
Kiehl's cos it's cheaper there, by a lil with the bad Currency Exchange Rate.
Body shop hand cream which contained a certain drug that Singapore, -.-'' , doesn't allow. And it's really good so I got it there. It's available in most Body Shop overseas.
5 Peanut Butter bars from Ghirardelli, one for every wink!

So much chocolates! But too good to let it stay on the shelves!

San Francisco was a lil not hectic enough for me in terms of money spent, time shopping and sightseeing. All too brief if you'd ask me.

Oh, speaking of spendings, F21 received S$300 worth of donations on my one visit alone. It's madly 4 level high, and CHEAP. NUTS.

Looking forward to Houston next time around. Factory Outlets PLEASE!!

Feeling OLD?

Well, I just arrived home after my holiday in Johannesburg. No pictures yet, not until I finish the one on San Francisco, Manchester, Milan.. and maybe Seoul. OMFG. Duh, backdated again, tell me what else is new?

So I switched on the computer in Nelson's room, who is my younger brother, 5 years to be exact. Scrolling down the websites I frequent, I also came across a whole lot of cutesy pie names which of cos symbolises an era. The TEENAGE GIRL'S BLOG.

Been there, done that, seen friends do it too.

All I can say is that I feel so old coming across these familiar sights. It's scary to realise, I'm growing. Well, OLD is the problem here, not growing.

You know, well we all know and recognise, the never ending rants on friends, backstabbers, teachers lectures project school and homework, outings, guys, and.. drum roll* NARCISSISTIC huge ass close up photos with an angle too high (now the angle has dropped a little, but no one can really help that because it's just so complimenting that way!), and poses so innocently seductive, shouting: Hey, I'm a young innocent lil hot thing. DAMN I ENVY THOSE GIRLS FOR THEIR YOUTH. And yes, this made me feel super, SUPER freaking old.

Face not as baby looking, eyes that shows experience and wisdom, how you wish to have those pair of eyes that never really saw worry and reality. Face a lot mature looking, well, still chubby, if not chubbier, but I can't help that.

All in all, it sucks to be 20 when you're seeing someone be 15. Or 16. Depressed.

On the brighter side, I've got money and they don't! From all the hard work. I'm not rich, just posses a greater spending ability than them, the only benefit of having liven 20 not 16 years. Denial is short term happiness people.

Well, I'm gonna try giving mature clothes the corner of my clothes closet for now, let see if dressing young will lift my spirits up. Sigh, when we're young we dress SOPHISTICATED. And when we grow up, we wanna look like kiddos.

Damn.

My SMS to Nelson went exactly like this:

I'll be back with a little more posts today and sacrifice my sleep for the sake of catching up with my life events.

Love.
Old me.

Doesn't my baby look pretty here?
Like seriously, almost girl pretty kinda pretty.
Ma pretty boy~

This will be my last post from Johannesburg!
I'm so ready to head home!! Whoo~!

P.S. ANTM CYCLE 13 IS OUT ON YOUTUBE! And it's for SHORT GIRLS! How cool is that!
(Although their definition of short is 5feet7, which, is no where near short for us anyway. Stupid tall people.)

P.SS. Baby is not telling me what he got me and it's driving me really nuts!!!!!!!!!!! :( ARGH.

Loving the idea of going HOME!
Me! (: YEAH!

30th October 2009

After a horrible 4 months of work and lessons, busy tight hectic schedule, I passed my driving.

Most of you guys heard one way or another.

I'm just glad it's over, no more waking up on off days worrying about getting to Ubi.

Sometimes it makes me wonder how am I going to cope if I were to enroll to study, and work at the same time. Hesitation.

Off to the long awaited verdict.

Then, on Hello-ween eve, we went down to Zouk to look for Ken. It only reminded me of how much I hated trace, and hence, Zouk.

Aside from the pretty people there that never fail to keep me entertained, Phuture's music was in comparison way better.

Baby and me at the sidelines.

Ken, entertaining his colleagues and us. hee.

Boyfriends.

After our attention span expired, which was like a mere hour odd, we head off for late night movie @ Downtown. MJ, baby's all time idol.
It was a nice clip, but took much patience.

A couple fell into deep sleep and could not wake up even after the show ended.
Cute.
Shame shame.

Then, my stomach was satisfied with MAPLE SYRUP.
Yes, Hotcakes from MacDingDong.
4AM when the first set of carb goes flying off the racks!

You know me. (:

So that marked the end of a terribly long day, crazy and all.

This internet is too slow!
Still blogging from my hotel room in Johannesburg.
me.
& Falling asleep. Gah.

It's been a long long while..

..since my last major camwhoring session with myself.

While I was hanging around my tiny room in Johannesburg, don't get me wrong, the Casino Hotel is one hell of a art work architecture, but I needed a filler for the many awaken hours.

And what better than getting hooked on Digital Camera, and Inbuilt lappie Webcam!

So while I lay these 4 peektures for self entertainment purposes, please allow me some time to organize the next hundred of them, and I shall slowly post them up as my cravings call.

I just fell in love with the "ponytail" look, just perfect for the awful heat back in sg.
mememe. love*

Baby and I Love Summer Breeze's Yum Yums. (:

A random treat and just because the lighting looks exceptionally good. The tone of the pictures have not been edited! There's a blue neon glow about it, don't ask me why. I've got no clue.

In the mood for a little beer.

Calamari is two thumbs up!

Baby's fave Pasta Bianca

Love the garlic bread!

Summer Breeze Pan Fried fish, I have no idea why that place always put me in the mood for this dish.

Lovely food for thought.
Me. (and still trying my best to stay awake while the super madly slow internet uploads pictures until I drop dead.)

Dinner In Malaysia

Finally after soo long baby and I got to bring mummsy and daddykins to Malaysia to enjoy our sinful diet!

The food was so drooling awesome, half the time baby had to remind me to take picture before I uncontrollably dig in! That also explains the minimal pictures, and no camwhoring. Busy me!

I'm so hungry now! :(

Short update cos the stupid internet in Johannesburg took 2 hours for just 7 pictures. Spell KNS.

Bye!
